We tailor your support solution to meet your requirements.
Our Support Agreement is designed to allow our clients to choose the services which best suit their needs. We work to find the right balance of our agreement’s options with the goal of optimizing our clients’ IT expenditures.
How does the Support Agreement work?
After our initial evaluation meeting, we will look at your desired support workflow and the demands placed on your computers to determine the proper monthly support package.
Example 1:
We meet with a company with 8 employees, 8 computers and 1 server. Because each employee was able to call us directly for support, their package became 8 Personal Support users, 8 Monitored computers and 3 Service hours per month. Their monthly service package would break down as follows:
| Description | Price |
| 8 On Demand Users ($25 each) | $200 |
| 8 monitored computers ($10 each) | $80 |
| 1 Server | $100 |
| 3 Pre-Paid Service Hours | $300 |
| Total | $780/Per Mo |
Example 2:
A husband and wife each have a computer. One has not called us for help in months, but the other enjoys asking questions which rarely take more than 5 minutes to resolve. We monitor both computers for backup issues and other impending failures. However, we only bill for one Personal Support user. Their monthly service package is small, so they choose to pay annually. The break down follows:
| Description | Price |
| 1 On Demand User ($25 each) | $25 |
| 2 monitored computers ($10 each) | $20 |
| 0 Servers | $0 |
| 0 Pre-Paid Service Hours | $0 |
| Total | $45/Per Month, paid annually for $486 a year |
Example 3:
A large corporation with 50 employees, each with a computer, and their own IT staff who handles their internal support. Their IT staff enjoys getting notified of impending problems and does call us in a bind looking for an answer to a question here and there. We also maintain the mail server. Management has decided to keep 3 prepaid hours on hand. However, there are some months where the IT staff does not have a need to call us in. Because their 3 hours are already paid up front, we do not bill another 3-hour block.
| Description | Price |
| 1 On Demand User ($25 each) | $25 |
| 50 monitored computers ($10 each, with a 20% quantity discount) | $400 |
| 1 Servers | $100 |
| 3 Pre-Paid Service Hours | $300 |
| Total | $825 Per Month, however $525 many months while there are still 3 pre-paid hours available. |
- How do I sign up? [In person]
- Enrolling in person or by phone is best. Please call 225-933-5311 to schedule an appointment.
- Must I prepay hours? [No]
- No. Prepaid hours are optional. They are designed to be a way for active clients to enjoy a deeper discount by prepaying hours.
- Why would I want to prepay hours? [Discounted rate, stable monthly invoice]
- Prepaid hours cost $50 less than the current rate of $150 per hour. They also allow for stable monthly billing.
- How are prepaid hours billed?
- We work with you to determine how many service hours your block should contain. At the beginning of the month, you will be invoiced for your block of hours. If your hours are below your predetermined block at the beginning of the following month, we will bill you for your block of hours. If you have a full block of unused hours at the beginning of the month, you will not be billed for additional hours that month.
- Example: Your company has 5 prepaid hours per month. Four hours are used for the month. You will be invoiced for your block of 5 hours at the beginning of the next month since your current number of prepaid hours available is less than your predetermined level of 5 hours.
- What happens to leftover prepaid hours at the end of the month? [They carry over]
- They are carried over to the next month.
- What if I run out of hours in a particular month?
- You can purchase another block of your predetermined hours immediately at the prepaid rate. You will be billed again at the beginning of the following month if your account is below the predetermined level at that time.
- How do I pay for the the Service Agreement?
- A recurring invoice is sent on the 1st of each month, due by the 10th. If desired, we can store your payment information for automated payment. To sign up for this option, contact our office or submit your payment information here.
- For Personal Support users, is there a limit on calls per month? [No]
- No. There is no limit to the number of calls per month for any issue that can be addressed in under 15 minutes.
- What if a problem turns out to be more in depth, and extends beyond 15 minutes?
- If the contact is longer than 15 minutes, the contact will be billable. We will send an invoice on our next week’s billing cycle.
- Who can call in for support? [Personal Support Users]
- Personal Support is purchased on a per-user basis. If the user is not enrolled as a Personal Support user, the same quality support will be provided, but an invoice will be sent for time spent.
- What does the Monitored Computers service provide?
